As a current Graphic Design and Animation student at the University of Huddersfield, I secured a place at Fishtank Agency as part of my placement year. My role involves assisting the team with internal communications, promotional designs for clients and lots of video animation - a keen interest of mine.
I’m looking forward to achieving some real life experience and working with clients to achieve their goals, rather than make-shift briefs set by my university. I’m also excited to be exposed to new skills along the way as well as building on my current skills, such as animation.
My inspiration to become a designer began after finishing high school - despite loving Graphic Design in school, I was set on the idea of studying medicine to become a Doctor. I started studying the relevant subjects to get where I needed to be for medicine, however during this time I realised science was not for me and I decided to start designing again and I soon realised life is too short to spend every working hour doing something that didn't inspire me.

Usually to find new design ideas quickly, I look to Instagram and Behance. These online platforms showcase a huge amount of digital design work in which I often become inspired by quickly. Ultimately, my influence depends on the project as sometimes I can find inspiration from taking a walk or even when I least expect it.
Life Outside Fishtank
In my spare time you can usually catch me binge watching a TV series, walking dogs, working on some personal design projects and usually looking into my next holiday.
Bucket List Best Bits
Probably the most common answer, but to travel as much of the world as I possibly can. I love exploring new places and different cultures
