Welcoming Craig to the Fishtank Team

Hi, I’m Craig and I’ve recently started working at Fishtank as their new Web Developer, taking care of website projects across our varied client base, designing, analysing and maintaining them as and when required.

I came to Fishtank from a big digital agency in Sheffield where my role was focused on similar areas.

My road to web design was not a straightforward one though.

I left school and chose to pursue a joiner apprenticeship while working as a sub-contractor, travelling up and down the country fitting wall cladding and wall protection. But just over 4 years ago I had an accident at work where I cut through my arm quite severely. This meant I couldn’t work for 6 months – I used this time to learn HTML & CSS. Not long after that I was given the chance to work for a company in Leeds where I received full in-house training to deepen my knowledge on HTML5, CSS3, PHP & MySQL.

At Fishtank I will be maintaining all of the older websites whilst building all new incoming web projects. My first design project is the new MCP Environmental website – watch this space for the upcoming launch!
