The Junior Designer will be responsible for supporting our Senior Designers with designing for our key accounts and working with a wide range of well-known national and global brands. We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic and who strives to exceed the expectations of clients and the team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Development & design of visual content across digital and print for Fishtank clients
  • Creative thinking to encourage new ideas and concepts
  • Input into client presentations and pitches
  • Producing high quality designs to brief and deadlines; input at client-briefing and project meetings with various members of the team
  • Helping to define project scope, resource requirements and identifying any technical or third party requirements
  • Being responsible for ensuring that the account managers are kept up to date on project developments whilst alerting to changes in timings, costs and any issues that may arise during the project
  • Working with the Director and Senior Designer to organise the creative work schedule within the studio
  • Liaising with production teams and printers (only when needed)

Who we’re looking for

  • Experience in a web/design/marketing agency is preferable but not essential
  • Personality to quickly establish relationships with clients
  • Experience in design for print and digital, having a strong sense of design layout and typography
  • Experience in UI design would be an advantage
  • Excellent organisation and timekeeping, with exceptional attention to detail
  • Multitasking skills
  • Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite is desirable, Sketch & InVision would be an advantage
