Junior Graphic Designer

We're hiring

Graphic Designer required for an award-winning agency based in Mirfield. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer who can work with the wider team and share a passion and empathy for design trends.

Someone who can put their own preferences to one side, face challenging situations and solve user problems in both print and digital – all whilst considering the needs of the wider team and key stakeholders. In short, you’ll be a champion of the User and help with the look and feel of all our products. You’ll need to be able to demonstrate your skills and knowledge with a portfolio of work.

The designer will be joining a company that puts its customers at the heart of everything that they do. They listen to their clients and deliver what they want in software upgrades. Technical Skills Required

  • 2/3 portfolio examples of completed design projects
  • Hands-on experience with image editing software, like Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
  • Proficiency in InDesign with a particular focus on layout
  • Experience in using Sketch and familiar with UI trends
  • Strong aesthetic skills with the ability to combine various colours, fonts and layouts to create engaging solutions
  • Excellent attention to visual details and finishing
  • Ability to meet deadlines and collaborate with a team


  • Work on design projects, from conception to delivery
  • Design original pieces, including layout, illustration and infographics
  • Refine images, fonts and layouts using graphic design software
  • Apply typography techniques
  • Generate ideas to portray concepts and effectively advertise products
  • Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects
  • Liaise with marketing and design teams to ensure deadlines are met
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and tools

Required Experience

  • 1+ years of agency experience actively using required skills

Advantage Skills

  • Interest in Video and Motion Graphics
  • Driving licence
