We are seeking a talented and driven SEO Executive to join our dynamic digital marketing team.
As an SEO Executive, you will be responsible for optimising our clients’ websites and online content to improve their visibility, drive organic traffic, and enhance their overall online presence. You will play a crucial role in implementing effective search engine optimisation strategies to maximise our clients’ websites’ performance in search engine rankings.
Conduct thorough keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities for improving organic search rankings and increasing website traffic.
Develop and implement on-page and off-page optimisation strategies, focusing on website content, meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure.
Monitor and analyse website performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms, providing regular reports and recommendations to improve SEO metrics.
Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and industry best practices to ensure our strategies align with current standards.
Collaborate with the digital team and clients’ marketing/PR teams to create SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, and landing pages, incorporating targeted keywords and optimising for user experience.
Conduct competitive analysis to identify strengths and weaknesses of competitor websites and develop strategies to outrank them in search engine results.
Optimise website structure and navigation to improve user experience and facilitate search engine crawling and indexing.
Manage and optimise local SEO initiatives, including Google My Business listings, local citations, and online directories, to improve visibility in local search results.
Collaborate with web developers to implement technical SEO enhancements, such as website speed optimisation, mobile responsiveness, and structured data markup.
Monitor and manage backlink profile to ensure high-quality and authoritative inbound links, as well as identify and disavow toxic links.
Proven work experience as an SEO Executive or similar role.
Strong knowledge of search engine optimisation principles, techniques, and best practices.
Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Moz, SEMRush or similar platforms.
Solid understanding of keyword research and analysis methodologies.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and website administration.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Results-driven mindset and ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
Up-to-date with the latest industry trends and algorithm changes.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field (preferred but not essential).
