We seek a talented, experienced UX/UI Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences and a keen eye for visual aesthetics. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design innovative digital products that meet user needs and drive business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

User Research and Analysis:

  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
  • Analyze user feedback and behaviour to identify pain points and opportunities.
  • Create user personas, journey maps, and user flows to inform design decisions.

UX Design:

  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and interaction flow to communicate design ideas effectively.
  • Design and iterate on user interfaces based on user research, feedback, and best practices.
  • Ensure designs are user-centred, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.

UI Design:

  • Create visually compelling and cohesive design systems, including style guides and UI patterns.
  • Design high-fidelity mockups and interactive prototypes using tools like Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and constraints.
  • Present design concepts and solutions to team members and clients, articulating design rationale and decision-making.
  • Facilitate design thinking workshops and brainstorming sessions.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Stay updated with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to ensure our products are ahead of industry standards.
  • Mentor and provide feedback to junior designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth.

Qualifications:

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
  • Proven track record of designing successful digital products and services.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch or Figma
  • Strong understanding of UX principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent visual design skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to create responsive designs for web and mobile applications.

Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with front-end development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines (WCAG).

Attributes:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in UX/UI design are a plus.
