My journey into web development began as a placement student here at Fishtank Agency in July 2016. Over the years I have developed my personal and technical skills which has seen me grow from a junior to a senior position, which I think highlights what a great web development department Fishtank Agency has. It has been a great pleasure to see this company grow and I have enjoyed working alongside such a talented team.

Day to day you will find me building or updating websites for our ever growing list of fantastic clients. I also make myself available to the wider team to help out with anything that requires some creative input or a bit of problem solving. Web development is forever changing, so to keep on top of things in the industry I like to read an article or two on CSS Tricks.

Fishtank is an awesome place to work and strikes a nice balance with our hybrid working scenario.

While working at Fishtank I have had the opportunity to play a key role on numerous projects and each has presented their own set of unique challenges, which in turn has allowed me to hone my craft. I pride myself on my keen eye for detail and it has been a key part to my success. We work with such a diverse range of clients across various sectors which creates plenty of opportunities to learn something new. Expanding my skill set is something I am always striving for, not just for personal development but so that we can deliver an excellent service to our clients.

Life Outside Fishtank

I spend too much of my spare time gaming, my favourite types of games are those that spark creativity which can be anything from sandbox, survival or storytelling. When I finally manage to put the controller down I like to go for walks in the Yorkshire countryside or go cycling on any of the routes across the Pennines.

Bucket List Best Bits

I would like to continue my skiing adventure, so far I have been to Italy, France and Canada. My favourite ski resort so far has to be Whistler.
