Nothing makes us happier than a long-standing client relationship; after all, they help keep our creative agency in West Yorkshire above water. These partnerships allow us to thrive, fuel our creativity, and connect us to various industries and ideas.
So when the newly-founded Magnera, a new leader in the non-wovens and speciality materials markets, sought our creativity and expertise after our successful 15-year partnership with the HHNF division, we were excited to jump straight in.
Our collaboration with Magnera didn’t happen by chance. In fact, it was through 15 years of hard work, growth and rapport-building that put us at the forefront of this fantastic project.
From the beginning of Fishtank’s journey, we’ve proudly worked alongside various HHNF sub-brands to bring their creative and digital visions to life. From work on landing pages and search engine optimisation to designing merchandise and packaging, we’ve covered all bases to ensure these brands shine brightly.
We were first approached by Chicopee, an industry leader known for their technological advancements in cleaning materials. They came to us with a challenge: to help refine and elevate their brand and design… And we delivered!
Our journey with these brands was only propelled from here, with leading tree shelter brand Tubex and geosynthetic solutions expert Terram requesting our creative services. With the successes that came from these partnerships, it wasn’t long before we were supporting the incredible Waste is Gold, Geca Tapes and Typar with all their digital requirements, too.
The relationship we built with HHNF, solidified through the incredible performance-driven work on their brands and the results achieved from that, meant that we were fortunate enough to be at the centre of website discussions with the global brand that merged with them to create Magnera.
At Fishtank, we pride ourselves on our ability to collaborate. We know it helps to ensure each client’s vision becomes reality, even if it means working with other agencies or teams to make it happen. We know that our clients’ successes rely on us meeting both deadlines and expectations, so we’re committed to working with whoever necessary to achieve those goals.
The short turnaround of this Magnera journey saw us lean on other agencies, such as branding agency Beardwood & Co., to deliver a seamless experience. We are usually an all-encompassing agency that prides itself on managing entire projects under one roof; however, time constraints meant that we had to adapt and work with amazing external teams to deliver our usual high-quality work in a short amount of time. Our combined efforts meant we could craft a website experience for Magnera that would be unique, innovative, and resonant with their market audience.
We knew that weekly check-ins with the Magnera team were essential in keeping everyone aligned. This allowed us to ensure transparency and maintain momentum, so this was a priority for our team from project start to finish.
From the early web design stages of the in-depth planning of Magnera’s website, our team focused on creating a digital presence that would capture the brand’s forward-thinking approach and commitment to innovation and ground-breaking technologies. Every element was carefully considered—from the colour scheme to the user journey—ensuring the brand’s identity and passion were clearly communicated.
The journey to launch Magnera’s new website was more than just a project; it was a transformative experience for our team and the client. Each member, from designers and developers to marketers and project managers, played a vital role in creating something that truly embodies the essence of this remarkable merger.
We’ve reaffirmed that collaboration is key. The ability to work together under pressure enhances our creativity and deepens our relationships with clients. Magnera has inspired us to think boldly and push beyond conventional limits, reminding us that every challenge is an opportunity for growth.
As we come to the end of this phenomenal project, we feel both proud and grateful for the chance to contribute to the beginning of Magnera’s story. It has truly been a journey of creativity, collaboration, and growth, and we feel grateful to have put our Fishtank spin on Magnera’s new web identity.
